About
A traveller’s phrasebook for the whole Arab world — in the Arabic that fits where you’re going.
Arabic is one written language but many spoken ones. Yalla lets you pick a dialect — Standard, Egyptian, Levantine, Gulf or Maghrebi — and every phrase, and its pronunciation, switches to match.
The Arabic here is carefully drafted but not yet checked by native speakers, so treat it as a friendly guide rather than gospel — especially Maghrebi (Darija), the most distinct dialect. Where a dialect form was uncertain, Yalla shows the widely-understood Standard form instead.
Yalla works offline once loaded. Arabic letters render with your device’s own Arabic font.
